Due to the dense population of New Pangaea, most of the land consists of immense cities; and most warfare takes place in urban environments. The Artillery Suit was developed to provide the heavy armor and artillery power of a tank, but with a level of mobility that would allow it to better function in an urban environment. Artillery suits are bipedal vehicles equipped with a powerful jumpjet engine to allow them to jump to the upper stories of skyscrapers with ease. Most Artillery Suits require two pilots; a navigator and a gunner. There are many models of Artillery Suit used by the different armies inside and outside the CEC. The most common seen in Neo-Babylon is the ASM4 'Rat Catcher'; a smaller, faster model used in police actions and manhunts. It has a light howitzer mounted on the top and four pistol caliber machine-guns mounted in the belly.
